（1） Transformer oil leakage phenomenon not only seriously affects the appearance, but also causes economic losses because the transformer needs to be shut down to eliminate leakage. If there is a lot of oil on the transformer ground foundation, it may also become a hidden danger of fire.
（2） Leaking oil will seriously interfere with the operation and maintenance personnel's monitoring and judgment of the sealing condition in the transformer oil storage cabinet and the correctness of the oil level indicator.
（3）After the oil level is reduced due to leakage, live connectors, switches, etc. may operate under oil-free insulation conditions, which may lead to breakdown, short circuit, burning, and even cause equipment explosion.
（4） After the transformer leaks oil, it will make the fully sealed transformer lose its sealing state, which is easy to reduce the insulation performance of the oil paper insulation by the intrusion of external air and moisture, accelerate the aging of the insulation, and affect the safe and reliable operation of the transformer.
（5）In addition, when the sealing of the top of the oil storage tank is damaged, such as the air drain plug and the conductive part of the sleeve, or the top of the oil storage tank and its connecting pipe have sand holes, due to the high part, even if there may be no leakage of oil, it may enter the rain and moisture, resulting in the deterioration of the insulation performance, and even insulation breakdown and winding burn accidents.
2, control transformer leakage of oil measures
①. Use welding to control transformer oil leakage
Before dealing with oil seepage, it is necessary to carefully analyze the cause and exact point of leakage. For the existing oil stains, first clean with cleaning agent, rinse with clean water, and finally wipe repeatedly with a clean cloth to find the exact location of the leakage point.
(1) According to the characteristics of heat dissipation quickly when repairing with oil, use arc welding to repair, do not use gas welding.
(2) In order to prevent the leakage of hydrocarbons from interfering with welding, asbestos rope or other soft string can be used to plug the leak and then welding. For a larger leak, you can weld part by part, and when the oil leak is boiled down to a point, you can plug the welding with asbestos rope. If the body is leaking oil, you can use a hammer gently twist, the oil leak mouth twist dead and then welding.
(3) The welding speed should be fast, for the large gap at the oil leak, it is best to weld for a while and stop for a while, and the welding time is not more than 20 seconds each time. Let the oil cool for a few minutes before soldering.
(4) If the oil leakage point is not obvious, there is only a slight oil leakage phenomenon, you can use soap to temporarily repair the leak, the method is to soak the soap with clear water, and then apply several times on the oil seepage point. This method is only a temporary measure, waiting for the opportunity to weld again to repair the leak. However, it should be noted that the power must be cut off before welding, and it must be carried out after confirming that there is no electricity, and the screw of the oil hole on the oil pillow should be opened to allow air circulation. At the same time, prepare sand and fire extinguishers and other fire equipment, just in case.
② Replace the seal to control the leakage of transformer oil
The bearing area of the sealing rubber should be adapted to the force of the screw, otherwise it is difficult to press tightly; When replacing the oil plug rubber seal ring, the valve and channel at the inlet of the part should be closed, and the negative pressure should be maintained until a large number of oil is replaced. The seal should have good oil resistance and anti-aging properties, good elastic and mechanical properties, and the sealing material should avoid using asbestos coiling and cork packing materials as much as possible.
